August 9th: Uniquely Temasek
The day that all Singaporeans should proudly remember, yes, our National Day. There is no need for reminder regarding this special occasion. However, our taste buds would remember Singapore well and its unique taste if they get to tantalise on familiar food such as the Hainan Chicken Rice, Chicken Curry, chicken Wings, Bandung, etc. Therefore, on this saturday, we like you to join us on this inaugural occasion with the SSA to celebrate Singapore's birthday, as well as to enjoy her goodness, in which case its food. We will be screening the NDP08 live over the internet so if you are thinking of catching it, coome on down and eat with us, stroll down memory lane of which you would go out for a casual dinner to a hawker place except with a big screen with Singaporeans watching the NDP and more importantly, away from Singapore.

August 7th: UNSW Foundation Day
Welcome fellow students, new and old, as you may not know it is UNSW Foundation Day on the 7th of August. Like every year, it will be a fun-filled event with games, exibits, food, music and even booze. The SSA will have a booth there so we could meet freshies, Singaporeans and returning members of the club and so if you let us, we'll try to entertain, amuse and provide you with any assistance required.
